Talk:Five pillars

From cppreference.com

I'm not sure if copying a bunch of community guidelines pages from wikipedia is really useful for this site -- we're a lot smaller and can largely avoid the problem of subjectivity because the content is technical.

If people are getting into disagreements with each other about things here that aren't being dealt with well, then maybe we should consider community guidelines that address the problems specific to this site. Otherwise, I think we don't need to bother with copying a bunch of stuff from wikipedia.

We need policies and guidelines to cite when people start reverting changes for absolutely no reason. Tsur! (talk) 13:15, 10 September 2023 (PDT)
no, it's just meaningless spam by some rustcels. --Cubbi (talk) 14:24, 10 September 2023 (PDT)
These are just trolls who ascended to new heights of boredom by editing a small wiki site, we shouldn't assume that they remotely care about rust or wiki guidelines or anything like that. In fact we shouldn't respond to their edits whatsoever other than boring reverts, as that tiny amount of stimuli is probably enough to feed their trolling --Ybab321 (talk) 15:18, 10 September 2023 (PDT)
There are trolls here? Have you considered bringing the infamous "Don't feed the trolls" meta page over? Tsur! (talk) 16:28, 10 September 2023 (PDT)
Hm, do you think that would help, Tsur? :) --Nate (talk) 16:33, 10 September 2023 (PDT)
Yes. We should start off by blanking (or archiving) this talk page. Tsur! (talk) 16:47, 10 September 2023 (PDT)
